"One Book, One Dedham" Launch Party

The Dedham Library Innovation Team (DLIT) and the Dedham Public Library are teaming up for the kick-off of the new “One Book One Town” program. “One Book One Town” aims to foster a love of reading through themed events that engage the entire community, and was made possible by the financial sponsorship of the Dedham Junior Woman’s Club. The program will be launched at the Main Library at 7 pm on Monday, March 28.

The inaugural program focuses on To Kill a Mockingbird, the classic novel by Harper Lee. Attendees at the March 28 meeting will receive a schedule of events, discussion guide, additional recommended books, as well as some homemade southern baked treats like Miss Maudie's Lane Cake. Copies of the book will be available through the library or for purchase.
