Duck Race on the Charles at Riverdale Park

It's time for Neponset Valley Sunrise Rotary's annual fundraiser “Duck Race on the Charles at Riverdale Park.” The event takes place across from the Irish Ale House on Bridge Street on June 16, 2012 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

Free barbecue and family friendly activities including face painting, pony rides, moonwalk, football skills, a DJ, and entertainment. Performance by Dedham School of Music's 5th Grade Band in partnership with Dedham Public Schools.
All are welcome to enter the duck race by “adopting” a plastic duck for $5.00 (or four ducks for $20.00 and get a fifth for free). First place prize of $1,000 for winning duck. Second, third, and fourth place prizes too.

Ducks can be adopted online at www.nvsrotary.org or by mail. Checks or money orders may be sent to Neponset Valley Sunrise Rotary, P.O. Box 4031, Dedham, MA 02027. They must be received by June 15, 2012. Please include your name, address phone, email address, and the number of ducks you want to adopt. You do not need to be present to win. All proceeds benefit the Neponset Valley Sunrise Rotary Club’s charities and programs.
