Artist of The Month, Luke Barry...Mini Artist at teh Dedham Guild

We are thrilled to present Luke Barry, Guild artist Jill Barry’s 7-year old son. As a child with autism, Luke often uses his art to communicate. Sometimes whimsical, very colorful and always expressive, a limited number of Luke’s drawings will be available for purchase during our September Artist of the Month Series: Luke Barry…Mini Artist. 100% of the proceeds from sales of Luke’s drawings will be going to CommunityAutism Resources and Luke’s Crayon Fund (to support the cost of his materials).

Luke’s drawings are in Jill’s words, “probably the most valuable thing that I have. They are how I get to see how Luke sees the world, which is completely different than how I see it. If I'm lucky enough, I get to sit and have little conversations with him about them. Sometimes I don't even know that he knows what certain things are until he draws them.”

Please join us on Thursday September 20th from 6-8pm for a public Opening Reception of Luke Barry...Mini Artist. Light refreshments will be served.
