Artists Aim to Transform Dedham Into Alice's 'Wonderland' This Week

The Dedham Square Artist Guild and the Parish Players of Dedham will host a "Alice in Wonderland" exhibition and production this week and weekend.

Alice's Adventures in . . . Dedham? 

Several local artists and performers are gearing up to host a special "Alice in Wonderland"-themed series of events this week in Dedham. 

The Parish Players of the First Church of Dedham-Unitarian Universalist will put on a production of "Alice in Wonderland" at the following times:

  • Friday, March 28 - 7 p.m.
  • Saturday, March 29 - 2 p.m.
  • Saturday, March 29 - 7 p.m.
  • Sunday, March 30 - 2 p.m.

But the series kicks off mid-week, as the Dedham Square Artist Guild will host a grand opening reception on Thursday, March 27 from 6-8 p.m. at the Dedham Community Theatre, according to Guild member Lisa B. Walker, who has created a few pieces of art in light of the event. The Guild will also have a table with art to sell on opening night this Friday from 6:30 p.m. until closing.
