Tickets Sold Out for 2014 Dancing with the Dedham Stars
The annual event will take place on Saturday, Feb. 1 at Moseley's On The Charles Ballroom and Banquet Facility.
It's nearly time for another annual "Dancing with the Dedham Stars", and the event has already gained such widespread popularity that tickets have sold out, according to the event's Facebook page Tuesday:
"Have you heard that this year's event is SOLD OUT?!," the Facebook post stated. "That's right, DWTDS is the hottest ticket in town and every penny goes to benefit the DEP. Who's ready to dance?"
The event is set to be held on Saturday, Feb. 1 at Moseley's On The Charles Ballroom and Banquet Facility.
Five of the six stars this year are longtime Dedham residents, with the exception of Jim Forrest, a Norwood resident and also the Dedham High School Assistant Principal.
Here are this year's contestants:
- Judy Bryne, Riverdale School Nurse
- Cheryl Kerr, Pastor at Allin Church
- Jim Forrest, DHS Assistant Principal
- Tom Ryan, Attorney Suffolk Registry of Deeds
- Alex Shumway, Magazine Advertising Saleswoman
- Shawn Greenwood, Electrician
