Restoration Project Receives $5,000 Grant to Hire a Counselor

Grant from MetroWest's Youth in Philanthropy program.

Restoration Project, a nonprofit vocational program based in Dedham for adolescents and adults with emotional disorders and brain injuries, has been awarded a grant of $5,000, according to a release. The grant comes from the Foundation for MetroWest’s Youth in Philanthropy program.

The Youth in Philanthropy grant will enable Restoration Project to hire a career counselor / job developer to enhance our participants’ abilities to identify the careers best suited for them, and to find and keep employment in their chosen fields.

The Foundation for MetroWest connects philanthropic opportunity with demonstrated need in MetroWest. The Foundation promotes philanthropy in the region, helps donors maximize the impact of their local giving, serves as a resource for local nonprofit organizations, and enhances the quality of life for all of our citizens.
