The town celebrated the re-opening of the new Dedham Square this weekend after months of construction.


The town made the completion of the project official with a ribbon cutting on Sunday in the rain in front of the movie theater.

Town officials and business owners encouraged as many residents as possible to huddle in to the ribbon cutting photo, which they will place into the Dedham Historical Society's records books.

The businesses also held various events throughout the weekend celebration, including a party at Blue Bunny,  free ice cream cones at Ron's, dance classes, live music and an art show.
