Pet of the Week: Molly

Molly is available for adoption through the Animal Rescue League of Boston's Dedham Shelter.

Molly is an approximately 2-year-old female pit bull type dog. She came to the shelter from an animal control facility and was originally found as a stray. She is a very sweet girl who loves everyone she meets!

She knows some basic commands like sit, stay, and come, and is eager to learn more. She seems to be housetrained in the shelter, but will probably need a refresher once she gets to her new home.

Molly loves to play with any kind of toy, especially tennis balls and plush squeaky toys! She likes other dogs and plays well with them, but should not live with other dogs because she doesn't like to share her toys.

She would do best with children over the age of 10 due to her possessive nature concerning toys. Molly does not bark much, but may whine when she is alone. She pulls hard when she's walking on a leash, but a gentle leader or EZ walk harness will help with that. She is not a super high energy dog, but she will need regular walks and play time to keep her fit and trim!

Molly is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and healthy! If you are interested in adopting her please call the shelter at 781-326-0729 or stop by to see her! $265 fee for adoption.
