Organizers of TILL Games Thanks Supporters for Success

TILL Games is a track event open to athletes of all ages and all abilities.

The 18th Annual TILL Games was held on September 15, 2012 at the Reggie Lewis Athletic Center in Roxbury.  TILL Games is a track event open to athletes of all ages and all abilities.   The 180+ participants came together to challenge themselves and their peers in many events including running, walking, power and manual wheelchair race events.

Many family and friends of the individuals we serve were on hand to cheer on the racers.  The children’s races are a fun highlight of the day, with the toddler run and youth races.  Several younger runners, who participated as youth in prior years, joined the mile event with very respectable times, giving the other runners a challenge.

In preparation for TILL Games, staff and individuals at our residential homes have been training at weekly practices at local tracks in their communities.  Their hard work showed in their tremendous effort and sense of accomplishment.

Thank you to all who helped to make the day a success.   Thank you to Marathon Sports and our Friends of TILL Games for their contributions to this annual event.  Thank you to all who encourage the athletes to challenge themselves and celebrate their victories. Everyone is truly a winner.
