2. Oakdale Square Fall 2012 Clean-up

Where/When: Tedeschi Food Shops, 77 Cedar St. in Dedham./ Saturday, Nov. 17 at 9 a.m.
Why Go: Join us to spruce up the Square. Please bring rakes, shovels, gloves and lots of friends as we clean up historic Oakdale Square. Free coffee, water, juice and treats for volunteers will be served in front of Tedeschi's Food Shop.

3. Dedham Junior Woman's Club Craft Fair
Where/When: Dedham Middle School, 70 Whiting Ave. in Dedham./ Saturday, Nov. 17 at 9 a.m.
Why Go: All money raised from this craft show will benefit local charities and organizations, along with funding the three scholarships awarded by the club each year.

Why Go: Parents who are concerned about child safety and want to take action to protect their children should bring their families to this event. Child ID is an important step parents can take to help protect their children.

5. Jeff Byrd & Dirty Finch in Concert
Where/When: Paradise Cafe, 565 High St. in Dedham./ Saturday, Nov. 17 at 8 p.m.
Why Go: Jeff Byrd and Dirty Finch are an alt-country / roots-rock band out of Rhode Island that have been playing relentlessly all over the Northeast. Their southern style twang and infectious hooks and melodies are causing quite the buzz amongst fans and critics alike.
