Five Things You Need to Know: Oct. 26, Halloween Parties, Concerts and More

Here are five things you need to know for Friday!

Today's Weather: Today will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 68.  For tonight it will be mostly clear, with a low around 48, according to The National Weather Service.

1. Friend's of Riverdale will be hosting a Halloween Party tonight at 8 p.m.  The party will be at Mosley's on the Charles, 50 Bridge St. in Dedham.  Tickets cost $15 and you have to be over the age of 21 in order to attend.

2. Carrie Cheron will be performing at Paradise Cafe, 565 High St. in Dedham.  With a sound that is as warm and rich as velvet, this gifted songwriter and master song interpreter is absolutely mesmerizing.  The concert starts at 8 p.m. and is free to attend.

3. The Blue Bunny, 577 High St. in Dedham, will host a Bed Time Story event at 6:30 p.m.  Kids will enjoy a Halloween story and a collection will be done for candy and party favors for the New England Home for Little Wanderers.  Costumes are encouraged!

4. Discover Music & Art, 597 High St. in Dedham, will have a Halloween Bash at 4:30 p.m.  Enjoy music, merriment and light refreshments.

5. Moose Hill’s is having their very popular Halloween Prowl all day.  The event enables your family to enjoy this autumn holiday in a fun, creative, non-scary, safe, and educational manner.  Discover the history of Halloween from a Druid and then encounter costumed characters as you are guided along a candle-lit trail.  After the hour-long guided walk, return to the Nature Center and enjoy a drink and treats at our campfire sing-a-long program.  If you have come in the past, please note that the characters change every year. Its costs $9 per person, but children under age 3 are free.
