Five Things You Need to Know: Dec. 18, Vigil for Newtown Victims, Scarf Show and More

Here are five things you need to know for Tuesday!

1. There will be a public vigil for the victims of the Newtown School shooting at 3 p.m. Participants will meet around the Christmas tree in Dedham Square to hang 26 angels, representing each life that was lost.  But those who attend can also bring their own angel to hang on tree.

2. There will be an Older Adult Fitness class at 9:30 a.m.  The class will be held at the First Church of Dedham-Unitarian, 670 High St. in Dedham, and are led by a certified knowledgeable instructor experienced in working with seniors.  The class costs $3.50 to join.

3. The Justin House, 25 Avery St. in Dedham, will have a Hip Hop and Pilates class at 7 p.m.  The class costs $5 to join.

4. T.G.I. Friday's, 750 Providence Hwy. in Dedham, will host a game of Questionnairy at 9 p.m.  Questionnairey is loosely based on Family Feud but described as "not your ordinary trivia." So get your team of people to T.G.I.Friday's to test your skills at an assortment of questions.

5. And the Dahlia Gallery will have their 8th Annual Handmade Scarf Show at 97 Union St. in Newton Center.  The show features original work from renound textile artists across America including work by Carter Smith, Leni Hoch, Hillary Gifford, Hulda Bridgeman, Loominus, Betsy Giberson and more.  The show starts at 11 a.m.
