Five Things You Need to Know: Dec. 11, Dedham Solar Challenge, Games and More

Here are five things you need to know for Tuesday!

Today's Weather: There will be a slight chance of showers before 8 a.m. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a temperature falling to around 39 by 5 p.m.  For tonight, mostly clear, with a low around 26, according to The National Weather Service.

1. There will be a Dedham Solar Challenge event at 555 High St., in Dedham. 
Enjoy free food and drinks, while you use this opportunity to learn how you can save money on your electricity bills by producing clean, renewable solar energy and schedule your free solar assessment. This free event starts at 7 p.m.

2. The Warden, Vestry and Congregation of Church of the Good Shepherd-Episcopal, 62 Cedar St. in Dedham, is inviting the community to attend The Celebration of a New Ministry at which  as the eleventh Rector of the Church of the Good Shepherd - Episcopalon the twentieth anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood.  The event starts at 7 p.m.

3. The First Church of Dedham-Unitarian, 670 High St. in Dedham, will have an Older Adult Fitness class at 9:30 a.m.  The classes are led by a certified knowledgeable instructor experienced in working with seniors and costs $3.50 to attend.

4. T.G.I. Friday's, 750 Providence Hwy. in Dedham, is hosting a free game of Questionnairey at 9 p.m.  Questionnairey is loosely based on Family Feud but described as "not your ordinary trivia."
