Donate Unwanted Halloween Costumes

As we kick-off the autumn season, and our thoughts turn to falling leaves, football games and, of course, Halloween, I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know about an organization that I am helping out this year.  FROM THE PUMPKIN PATCH is dedicated to providing Halloween costumes to children from low-income families. Each year, local residents have searched their basements, attics, etc..and donated hundreds of new and used costumes, accessories, masks, and jewelry to the cause.

Just prior to Halloween, FROM THE PUMPKIN PATCH hosts an event where children are invited to pick out a FREE costume to wear on Halloween and any other day they feel like it!

Over the last five years, FROM THE PUMPKIN PATCH has given away thousands of costumes. They have watched as children screamed in delight at finding the perfect costume, listened to parents describe how this is the first costume their children have ever had and marveled at the generosity of all the families who donated items to the cause.

In an effort to ensure that as many children as possible have a costume to wear on Halloween, I am leading a costume collection drive. Costume collection bins will be  located at 515 Washington St, Canton, from  10/6  to 10/26.
