Dedham to Join Earth Day Cleanup Efforts This Month

Find out how to get involved in this year's efforts, as part of which volunteers will pick up trash and clean various areas of town.

Dedham residents looking to make a difference will have their chance this month as officials gear up for several Earth Day Cleanups throughout town.

The cleanups will take place on Saturday, April 25 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., when volunteers will pick up trash in the town's parks, along riverbeds and in surrounding open spaces.

The effort is part of the 15th annual Charles River Watershed Association's cleanup. Volunteers from more than 20 towns will aim to remove litter and debris from the Charles River and surrounding parklands.
