Dedham's Noble and Greenough Free Skate for Elementary Schools

Each year, for almost a decade now, the folks at the Noble and Greenough School in Dedham, offer the children of our four elementary schools a “free skate” at their Bliss Omni Flood Arena.

The Omni Rink is a fully enclosed facility that is used for the Nobles ice hockey teams in the winter and converts in to indoor tennis courts in the spring.

The Noble and Greenough School is a 5-day coed day/boarding school for students in grades 7-12. Their mission is to inspire leadership and to motivate their students to achieve their highest potential – both academically and personally.

In what Oakdale Elementary School Principal, Holli Armstrong calls “a very nice community gesture,” dozens of local boys and girls turn out to take advantage of this opportunity, and spend hours skating with their friends and classmates.
