Celebrate Chanukah at 5:00 p.m. with Rivka Horowitz at the Canton Public Library


1. The Canton Public Library will be closed today for corporate training from 9:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Evening activities will take place starting with:

2. Celebrate Chanukah from 5:00 - 5:30 p.m. with Educator and Storyteller Rivka Horowitz M.Ed. for a story and craft about the upcoming holiday of Chanukah. 'The Borrowed Chanukah Latkes' is a great story about Kindness and hospitality. We will make a beautiful Chanukah Sand Art to display on your window.

3. Zumba Class at 1:00 p.m. at the Canton Council on Aging.

4. A seminar for First Time Homebuyer's from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the Canton Public Library, Community Room. Provided by Sovereign Bank for Neighborhood Housing. Mandatory seminar for 1st-time home buyers.

5. At 7:00 p.m. there will be a Board of Board of Health Meeting in the Salah Meeting Room in Town Hall.

NOTE: Tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. the Annual Prints and Pottery Holiday Sale begins at Massasoit Community College. Massasoit faculty and students work for one of a kind gift giving. Will run through Friday, Dec 7. For more information contact: (781)821-2222 ext. 2124.

Thank Amy for the great lead on the Chanukah program at the Canton Library. We had so much fun learning about Chanukah, singing Chanukah songs, eating lots of Chocolate Chanukah gelt, and doing crafts! Sara from Canton

Your welcome! I've covered many of Rivka's programs in the over the years and she always makes her programs so much fun and very entertaining. The children always have a wonderful time!
