The Dedham American Legion Band, Post 18 makes it a double in Arlington!!

The Dedham American Legion Band, Post 18, started their 2nd Season off and perform at The Patriots Day Parade in Arlington for the second time on Monday, April 21st.  It was the 15th performance of this young band.
 
The Dedham American Legion Band, Post 18 is a volunteer band founded in October of 2012 by David Zablatsky, Jeanette Berger and Dick Goguen. The band’s mission is to promote patriotism, the US military and Veterans’ organizations. This goal is achieved through serving the local communities by providing live music for various venues while providing opportunity for personnel and musical growth of its members. The membership consists of men and women who enjoy music. The Band is seeking musicians, color guard and support members, middle school age and above. Openings exist in all sections. No auditions. Uniforms, music, percussion, sousaphones provided. Other instruments can be provided as well. American Legion eligibility is not required.
