Shakespeare in Dedham

If you want to see a professional quality production of Shakespeare, drive no further than Dedham.
I had the pleasure of watching a truly outstanding performance of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet in a beautiful setting at the Fairbanks House grounds Saturday night, August 24th.
The performance was crisp like the cool air, the actors on target like Mercutio's sword and the crowd thoroughly enjoyed it.
There is no denying the talent of this ensemble, but just as impressive is the obvious enjoyment the cast has in performing their roles. They truly enjoy acting together and it certainly comes across in the performances.
If you want to spend 2 hours enjoying Shakespeare in a beautiful setting you can't do better than going to a Dragonfly Theater production at the Fairbanks House grounds.

Oh, and did I mention it's free?!
As a non profit organization they only ask for a donation if you enjoyed the show.
I donated.
I look forward to next year when the Dragonfly and its talented ensemble return with another end of summer Shakespeare production.
To paraphrase the bold Mercutio, "...a very good blade! a very tall man! a VERY GOOD SHOW!!"
