Liverpool FC Legends Robbie Fowler and Ian Rush Host Soccer Clinic for Youth at Camp Harbor View

Liverpool FC Legends Robbie Fowler and Ian Rush led at-risk youth from Camp Harbor View in interactive soccer clinics on Monday afternoon, where the students learned techniques such as passing, dribbling, running with the ball and shooting. Created to offer Boston at-risk children a true summer camp experience, Camp Harbor View is an initiative of the not-for-profit Camp Harbor View Foundation, Inc. in partnership with the City of Boston and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston.

Liverpool FC will participate in a weeklong series of community activities, appearances & training sessions at Harvard Stadium as Boston serves as the Club’s home base from July 21-25. Liverpool Football Club (LFC) returns to Fenway Park on July 23 to face Italian Giant AS Roma in ‘Buick Football at Fenway,’ the first stop on the Club’s 2014 U.S. pre-season tour. The Reds will also participate in the International Champions Cup, facing Olympiacos on Sunday July 27 in Chicago, Manchester City on Wednesday July 30 in New York, followed by AC Milan on Saturday August 2 in Charlotte.

In advance of the Fenway match, fans can see the Reds practice on the pitch at Fenway Park at a special open training session on July 22 at 6:00pm. All net proceeds will benefit the Friends of Liverpool FC Foundation, a nonprofit public charity (recognition as a 501(c)(3) organization pending IRS approval). The $15 general admission tickets are available now at redsox.com/footballatfenway or on the day of the event at Gate D at Fenway Park beginning at 5:00pm on Tuesday, July 22.

A limited number of tickets for the ‘Buick Football at Fenway’ Liverpool FC vs. AS Roma match are still available. Tickets range from $30 to $120, and are available at redsox.com/footballatfenway, lfctour.com, or by calling (877) RED-SOX9. Fans with disabilities may also call (877) RED-SOX9 to purchase accessible seating. The Red Sox' TTY number for hearing-impaired fans is (617) 226-6644. Fenway Park will be divided into neutral, AS Roma and Liverpool FC supporter sections, with the Liverpool “Kop” recreated in the bleachers and right field.
