DJWC Scholarships Available to Local Residents

The Dedham Junior Women's Club will be awarding their three annual scholarships.  Two awards are available for students: the Tory J. Civian Student Volunteer Award for $1500 and the DJWC Student Volunteer Award  for $1000.  Applicants should complete the student application and are automatically considered for both awards.  The student award is open to a Dedham resident who is currently a high school senior and who will be continuing his or her education at an institution of higher learning.  The third scholarship-award is open to a Dedham woman returning to school or continuing her education after college. Named for the late Karen E. Baker, the DJWC’s first president, this $1000 award is designed to support the educational pursuits of a Dedham woman who is an active volunteer.  The deadline for returning the applications is April 13th.  For further information or if you would like to receive an application please see www.djwc.org or email education@djwc.org
