Dedham American Legion Band reaches milestones at Roslindale Parade

The Dedham American Legion Band, Post 18, performed at Roslindale Parade on Sunday, October 6th.  It was the Tenth performance of this young band and nearing the Band's 1 Year Anniversary on October 10th. It was also the 2nd Parade that Parkway Towing in Hyde Park provided transportation for the band.
 
The Dedham American Legion Band, Post 18 is a volunteer band founded in 2012 by David Zablatsky, Jeanette Berger and Dick Goguen.  The band’s mission is to promote patriotism, the US military and Veterans’ organizations.  This goal is achieved through serving the local communities by providing live music for various venues while providing opportunity for personnel and musical growth of its members.  The membership consists of men and women who enjoy music.   

 
The Band is seeking musicians, color guard and support members, middle school age and above.  Openings exist in all sections.  No auditions.  Uniforms, music, percussion, sousaphones provided.  Other instruments can be provided as well. 
 
American Legion eligibility is not required.
