8u Girls Softball Registration OPEN!!

Dedham Softball Instructional Division – Register Now!

There is still time to register for Dedham Softball’s popular 8 & Under Instructional Division. Registration will be closing soon so sign up to be ready for Opening Day on April 27th.  This division is open to girls age 5 through 8 as of January 1, 2014.  The focus is on teaching the fundamentals of the game.  Our coaches spend time with each player to develop proper techniques for throwing, catching, fielding and hitting.  The techniques learned at this age are essential as players move up to the 10U division and beyond.  As the season progresses the coaches will introduce games and game situations in order to develop teamwork and confidence.

8U Instructional sessions will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 to 7:30 PM at Sugrue Field.  The season begins on April 29th and runs through June 5th, ending with the Awards Banquet on June 11th.  For additional information and registration go to www.dedhamgs.com
