The Manager of the local City Sports at the Dedham Legacy Place Mall started as a part time associate.

Erica Herbert formed a career from working only part time. Her hard work and determination gave her promotion after promotion until her final goal was reached. Herbert is very experienced and her staff is very important to her.

She said, "My favorite part about this job is working with my staff. I hire great people that love the job and work hard."

Her experience in business benefits the store. There are special techniques she has for making business run efficiently. She does go through hard times. Erica said, "Sometimes hours are long, things get harder."

It is all in the process of being a manager and Erica has fought through those hard times and came out on top.
