Styrofoam Collection, Winter Weather and a Morning Book Group Meeting

Here are five things you need to know in Dedham for Tuesday, Dec. 17.

1. Snow Alert: The National Weather Service is predicting anywhere from 1 to 3 inches or more of snow Tuesday afternoon and evening in the West Roxbury area. 

2. Recycle Your Styrofoam: Dedham will hold a Styrofoam recycling event on Saturday, Dec. 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Dedham Middle School front parking lot located on Whiting Avenue. The event is free for Dedham residents (proof of residency is required). Non-residents will be charged $10/car load. For more information, click here.

3. Morning Book Group: A morning book group will meet at 10:15 a.m. at the Dedham Public Library to discuss "The Glass Castle" by Jeannette Walls.
