Rustcraft Road Tours Wednesday in Dedham

5 Things to know for Wednesday, Oct. 23 in Dedham.

1. Kings in Dedham will offer  All-You-Can Bowl for just $10 with 4 or more guests after 9 p.m.

2. Tours will be offered at the Rustcraft Road building (100 & 150 Rustcraft Road) on Wednesday at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.  The tours will give residents the opportunity to view the proposed new location for the Town Hall, Police Department and Senior Center.

3. Retired Dedham Firefighter Nick Spada received a plaque last week recognizing over three decades of loyal service to the town of Dedham.

4. Norfolk District Attorney Michael W. Morrissey sponsored a national training for Norfolk County’s public school nurses, addressing how nurses can best integrate into a community’s response to a school disaster - either natural or man-made - as part of his ongoing campaign to enhance school safety. Dedham Public Schools Nurses Maria Antonuccio, Gail Kelly and Geri Kelly and Dedham Country Day School Nurse Erin Hartford were among the more than 80 nurses taking part in the day-long seminar.

5. Children are invited to read aloud to a trained therapy dog at the Dedham Library’s main branch from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m..
