Planning Board to Talk Zoning, DRAB to Discuss Sign Replacement at Stop & Shop

Here's a roundup of information and happenings in Dedham for Thursday, Jan. 9.

1. The Dedham Planning Board will meet at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 9 in the lower conference room at Dedham Town Hall to discuss two separate items, which can be found on the board's agenda.

2. The Design Review Advisory Board (DRAB) will also meet Thursday, at 7 p.m. in the Selectmen's chambers at Dedham Town Hall to discuss renovation of a building on Bridge Street for mixed use, as well as the replacement of sign facing at Stop & Shop. See the full agenda here.

3. Visions HealthCare is hosting an introductory talk to kick off a transformational group for women called "The Gathering" at 11:45 a.m. Thursday on Washington Street in Dedham. The introductory talk demonstrates how fear, negative energy patterns, and self-limiting beliefs can hold us back from living our intended lives. Facilitated by teacher & healer Patricia Howard.

4. The Dedham Community House will host a Zumba class at 7 p.m. Thursday, led by Fitness Instructor Adriana Lopez.

5. ICYMI: Dedham Girls Softball registration for the 2014 spring season is now open. Registering now entitles players to attend free winter clinics.
