Peter H. Reynolds Illustrates MLK Message, 'Miss Norfolk County' Comes to Dedham

1. Dedham resident, Blue Bunny Books and Toys co-owner and Fablevision founder Peter Reynolds this week released an illustration he drew in celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day on Monday. And while it's been a few days since the holiday, the nature of the illustration honors MLK's message as a year-round notion. The following message was posted to the Fable Vision site: "We encourage you to print this beautiful new poster by Peter H. Reynolds and hang it on your wall to honor Martin Luther King, Jr. and his powerful message all year long. Wishing you all an amazing Martin Luther King Day!"

2. The Miss Norfolk County 2014 Scholarship Pageant will be held on Sunday, March 23 at Dedham High School. This an official local pageant for the Miss Massachusetts/Miss America pageant system.

3. How about some history, Dedham? Dedham Square Circle has posted a photo of two historic gas pumps from one of Dedham's first auto service stations that have been refurbished and set in front of Dedham Bike, where they've been for decades. 

4. The Mother Brook Arts and Community Center (MBACC) has announced its inaugural art exhibition "Flirt", described as “an intoxicating visual feast”, will open Saturday, Feb. 1.
