NYE Library Hours, Democratic Town Committee Annual Caucus Announced

A roundup of five things to know in Dedham for Tuesday, Dec. 31.

1. The Dedham Public Library will open at 10 a.m. and close at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 31. 

2. The Dedham Democratic Town Committee has scheduled its January meeting for Tuesday, Jan. 7 at 7 p.m. in the Francis O’Brien Meeting Room at Dedham Town Hall and has also announced its annual Caucus for Saturday, Feb. 8 at 9:30 a.m. (registration at 9 a.m.) at the Endicott Estate. 3. New Year's Eve: Planning a trip to Boston's First Night this New Year's Eve? Check out what's planned for the event, and also be sure to plan ahead for MBTA service if you're commuting.

4. King's Dedham is holding special New Year's Eve specials. Before to check out the menu and offerings up through Tuesday evening. 

5. ICYMI: The Dedham Department of Public Works will pick up Christmas trees on residents' trash collection day through Jan. 31. Residents should leave their trees by the curbside. Moreover, Dedham has contracted with Waste Management to add additional collection for recycling only for two weeks beginning Monday, Jan. 6. The additional collection will take place during residents' normal recycling week only. Only recycling products will be collected, no loose trash will be picked up.
