Interest in Open Selectmen Seats Increases, Winter Escape Cocktail Party Tickets Available

1. Seven interested candidates have pulled nomination papers thus far for the open seats on the Dedham Board of Selectmen in preparation for this spring's annual town election. Find out who, as well as other candidates interested in various board seats.

2. Tickets now available for a Winter Escape March Madness Cocktail Party to be held on Friday, March 7 from 7-11 p.m. at the Dedham Community House. Food will be provided by Summer Shack Dedham, and the event will feature a silent auction, college basketball theme and games and more. Tickets are $40 in advance or $45 at the door and can be purchased online or at the office.

3. A free seminar will be held Wednesday night covering the pros and cons of popular diets, and some common diet myths. Facilitated by Drs. Adrian and Sarah Granite of Granite Family Chiropractic and Nutrition in the square in partnership with Dedham 50 Days of Fitness Fun. Learn how you were designed to eat and what foods to avoid when trying to lose weigh. 

4. Vincenzo's Italian Deli and Specialty Store in Dedham is now carrying fresh pasta, according to a Facebook post by the eatery on Monday. The deli currently offers half-pound and one-pound containers.
