By Liz Taurasi

Menorah Lighting Tuesday Night in Dedham Square - A Menorah Lighting Ceremony is being held on Tuesday night (the seventh night of Chanukah) in Dedham Square from 6-6:45 p.m. The event will feature the kindling of the town’s largest Menorah, as well as music, dancing, donuts, hot cider and non-sectarian holiday greetings. The event is sponsored by the Chabed Jewish Center of Needham.

Two Weeks Left for Yard Waste Collection - This week and next are the final yard waste collection pick ups for the year. The final weeks will be: A Week - Dec. 2-6 and B Week - Dec. 9-14. Leaf and yard waste must be out by 7 a.m. on your recycling day in either biodegradable bags or open barrels. Branches and small brush must be less than 1 inch in diameter and cut into 4’ lengths, bundled and tied. Do not mix yard waste with household trash.

In Case You Missed It - The holiday lights are up at 121 Garfield Road for the season with Santa scheduled to make three more visits before Christmas.
