This year over 60 artists will b e showing their paintings\, pottery\, printmaking\, jewelry\, origami\, sculpture\, photography\, mosaics\, glass\, decorative objects and more in 14 locations aroundNeedham. \;This is a wonderful opportunity to meet the many creative artists living and working in \;Needham. Take the tour around town\, visit the artists in their studios\, see how the y make art\, ask about the creative process\, and find unique hand-made treasures. \;In conjunction with the tour\, the \;Needham \; Historical Society will exhibit the works of the Open Studios Artists fo r the month of May. \;A Preview Party at the Historical Society is p lanned for the evening of Thursday\, May 5\, 7-9 \;pm. including liv e music\, food and art to preview from \;Needham \;Open Studios Artists. \;Free tour maps with color illustrations and information o n the participating artists can be picked up before the event at the&nbs p\;Needham \;Free Public Library\,Needham \;Town Hall\, local bu sinesses\, and at all artist locations on the weekend of the tour.
