NSTAR Electric and Yale Appliance and Lighting are partnering-up this Veterans Day weekend to “brighten the lives of homeless veterans” by holding a unique event to raise awareness of homelessness among our nation’s veterans by requesting donations of non-perishable food, toiletries, bedding and clothing for the New England Center for Homeless Veterans in Boston. Throughout the Veteran’s Day weekend customers who bring donations will receive one free LED light bulb courtesy of NSTAR and Yale Appliance & Lighting ($37.50 value); customers will also receive discounts on various LED light bulbs for the home and representatives from NSTAR and Yale will be on-hand to provide information regarding the aesthetic and energy-efficiency benefits of LED lighting.
