We will honor groups and individuals who give to the needy during this time of year.Many places are in need this holiday season. Volunteers showed up Saturday morning to pitch in at the Dedham Food Pantry, a busier day than usual, given a surplus of clients after a flood forced it to close the week before. Dedham Pantry co-president Lindsay Barich, alongside Lynn Rogal, described the customer base as consisting of qualified Dedham citizens ranging from families escorted by militarymen, to elderly citizens who receive monthly checks, to the chemically-dependent, to divorcees just facing temporary set-backs.
