Animal prints seem to be in style season after season and this year is no exception.  As much as I love, love, love them…you can definitely get too much of a good thing.  An entire outfit comprised of it can be totally overwhelming, but a great way to add a little pop is with a "ferocious but fabulous" accessory. 

A fun shoe, handbag or scarf can be purchased for relatively little money and can completely change the tone of an outfit.  A simple black dress goes from “Cocktail Boring” to “Fashion Wow!” just by adding a great pair of leopard print heels.  This is one trend that seems to have a very long life so don’t be afraid to splurge a little on a great pair of shoes.

Don’t want to invest in footwear?  No problem!  This snakeskin clutch ($29) in a bright spring color is the perfect accessory.  My personal favorite accessory is a scarf.  I wear one pretty much year-round and this really low contrast one ($20) is a fantastic representation of a subtle print.
