School Officials Eye ECEC Move, Await MSBA Response

The Dedham School Committee unanimously voted to recommend giving control of two acres at the Dexter School back to the school department. The committee had given it to the town four years ago to use as a senior center.

Officials Remember Kelly Timilty

Roslindale resident and longtime representative of Dedham residents Kelly Timilty passed away this week. Several Dedham officials reflected what she accomplished for the Town of Dedham.

UPDATED: Dedham Firefighters Make Quick Work of East Street Fire

A second-story fire broke out on East Street this week, displacing three residents. The fire started from careless disposal of a cigarette, officials said. No one was injured in the blaze.

Dedham Selectmen OK Avery Arts Center

With dozens of supporters present, the Board of Selectmen recommended the current Avery School turn into an arts center, once the new Avery opens in April.
