In 2008, when Dr. Edward Levitan first opened Visions HealthCare in Wellesley, he wanted to create a facility that combined eastern and western medicine.

"The major problem is that doctors tend to prescribe medicine to cover-up the symptoms, instead of actually treating the problem that's causing them," he said.

On Tuesday, the medical facility celebrated the opening of it's second location at 910 Washington St. in Dedham.

"I'm ecstatic! This is a culmination of years of hard work," he said. "And now we have a facility that represents who we are and what we do."

The facility will speacialize in Acupuncturists, Chiropractic, Physical Therapy, Bodywork, Spiritual Alignment, Nutrition, and Energy Healing.
