It is the people/families that make Dedham a great community and good place to live or bring up a child. The town does a great job at events and bringing the kids together at Endicott Estate at Halloween or Dedham Day at Memorial Field in the Fall. My boys being able to go to Paul Park any day in the summer and enjoy endless fun and games with other kids organized by the town for free.

I've recently noticed it more because of my children in sports and all the great coaches they have or had over the years. Being in our first year of Pop Warner, I'm very impressed with the team spirit and the families that come together. All of the coaches volunteer their time (5 nights a week for the month of August and now 4 nights/day) and not one of the coaches has a child on the team. Also my oldests soccer coach for the past 4 years has had no child on the team. That is what I see as a Great Community and giving back to the youths and making it a great place to be.. If you want to see what I mean come down to Memorial Field on Sunday from 9 am - 3 pm and look around at all the spirit. My children are certainly having a great experience in Dedham so far to reflect on...
