Tell Us: What are You Doing for 9-11?
Many people are remembering today in different ways.
It's hard to believe, but it's been eleven years since we were attacked on American soil.
Since then, many Americans have decided to use 9-11 as a day of service. There are some people who are giving blood for the Red Cross on Rustcraft Road, and there are some who are just taking the time to reflect.
But what are you doing today for 9-11?

Thinking about what was and what could have been had this never happened. To ensure our youth never forget... the Troop 3 Dedham Boy Scouts put together 50 full toiletry kits in patriotic fabric bags donated by a parent and delivered them yesterday to the VA Hospital on Route 1. Each included a card that read, "Please accept this small kit as our fall community service project as we honor those lost and attempt to reclaim that spirit of unity that followed this awful day in American History. We thank you kindly for your service to our Country. Troop 3 Dedham Boy Scouts." People can say what they wish but until there is 'danger music' in real life, a great Scouting program is still a terrific way to learn priceless life skills.
