Sen. Scott Brown Outraises Warren in Dedham [POLL]

Warren brought in more total contributions in the fourth quarter, the Boston Globe reports.

 

Sen. Scott Brown (R) supporters in Dedham donated five times more than supporters for challenger Elizabeth Warren in the fourth quarter of 2011, the Boston Globe reported.

Dedhamites gave Scott Brown's re-election committee $7,950 compared to $1,425 for Warren, a Democrat from Cambridge.

Only donations more than $200 are filed with the Federal Election Commission.

A tally of total Dedham contributions to the two candidates was tabulated, howver, through the third quarter of 2011, Dedhamites gave seven $1,000 contributions to Brown's campaign, while Warren didn't receive a contribution from Dedham for more than $25, according to a Huffington Post database.

Several Dedhamites, however, did contribute to ActBlue, an organization that allows contributors to pick a candidate to support. Specific candidate donations through ActBlue was not immediately available.

In all, Warren outraised Brown in the fourth quarter $5.7 million to $3.2 million, according to the Globe.
