POLL: Your Choice for Oscar's Best Picture of the Year

Tell us which movie you think deserves to be this year's Best Picture at the Academy Awards.

It's a well known award show scene: The two movie-star presenters, after a little back-and-forth, and a couple of jokes, arrive at the moment everyone has been waiting for. One of them opens the envelope, looks into the camera and says "The Oscar for Best Picture goes to ..."

Well, we'll all have to wait until this Sunday's broadcast of the 84th Academy Awards to find out this year's official winner. Today we want to know your choice. If you were a member of the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, which nominated film would be your choice for a "Best Picture" Oscar?

There are nine films nominated in the "Best Picture" category this year, all of them listed below in the poll.

Also, just for fun, if your favorite movie of the past year was not nominated for an Oscar, let us know in the comments section below. Tell us why you think the committee made the wrong choice when it snubbed your top movie pick of the year.

The Oscars will air at 7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26 on ABC. This year's host is Billy Crystal, his ninth time as the front man for the award show. Click here to find the nominations for all of the categories.
