PHOTOS: The Dedham Food Pantry 'Holiday Harvest Telethon'
The event raised $31,000 last year.
The Dedham Food Pantry held one of its largest fundraisers at the new headquarters for Dedham TV for a "Holiday Harvest Telethon" on Thursday evening, Nov. 29.
"This fund raiser will support one third of the food pantry budget for the year," said Food Pantry President Lindsay Barich at the event.
Last year $31,000 was raised from the telethon thanks to individual contributors, civic organizations, schools, churches and businesses. Aside from monetary contributions, many individuals donate their time and services to support the pantry.
