The firefighters had to wear water survival suites in order to get the deer out of the water.

 

Over the weekend, Dedham Firefighters Steve Doherty and Jim Morrison helped pull a deer out of the Charles River while wearing water survival suites.

Others involved in the scene were Deputy Chief Jim Nielan, Firefighter Jerry Bradbury, Firefighter Bob Spillane and Firefighter Ken Pike.
