Multi-Car Crash on Rte. 1, Drivers Should Avoid Area
Traffic on Rte. 1 southbound is being rerouted as the scene is cleared.
The Norwood Police Department is reporting a multi-car crash being worked by Norwood Police and Fire on Rte. 1 Southbound at Everett St. and University Ave.
Police are asking drivers to avoid the area if at all possible. Southbound traffic is being rerouted; drivers in the Dedham area should take note.
One operator fled the scene but was apprehended and arrested.
