There were reports of a car vs. truck accident on West St. near the Needham line around 2:57 p.m.

According to the Dedham Fire Department, there were two trucks and a sedan involved.

"The driver of the car hit one of the trucks and then bumped off the other," the Fire Deputy said. "She was then pinned between a tree and the truck."

Fire personnel required a Jaws of Life in order the take the driver out of her car. 

The driver sustained serious, but non-life threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital by the Needham Fire Department.
