Editor's note: This letter was submitted by organizers of Rocking the Stocking.

We are writing with our most heartfelt thanks to all of the Dedham residents and businesses that contributed to the 2011 Rocking the Stocking & Toys for Tots drive to benefit the Dedham Youth Commission.

We continue to be amazed by the generosity we see each and every year. 

The event would not have been possible without sponsorship from selectman Michael Butler, and help from Ali Koushan at Paradise Cafe, Meghan Stamm at Discovery Toys and Josh Rossmeisl at Kings. Special thanks also go Tracy White, Bobby Zahka (and Lily our little helper) and the congregation at St. John’s, Adrienne Albani and the congregation at the Allin Church, and Chris Carney for their wonderful efforts.  

A special congratulations to our new youth commission director Rob Blaney — aka DJ Big Daddy Rob — for stepping right in and ensuring that every Dedham child will have a gift this holiday season.
