He was the Tax Collector and Treasurer for the town of Dedham and former Dedham Selectman. He was also a very avid photographer and outdoorsman.
Town Administrator, William Keegan, had this to say about Reyes:
Robin was a great friend, colleague and mentor. He and I have worked together for my entire tenure as Town Administrator in Dedham. He was one of the smartest people I have ever known.
In addition, his demeanor and approach to problem solving was something that we have all learned to try and emulate. He never got flustered and always remained calm under some of the most challenging situations. We will all miss him as a fellow professional but even more as a friend and a kind, gentle human being.
Visiting hours will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons, Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., in Dedham, today from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
