Ron's Gourmet Ice Cream brought coolers full of several kinds of ice cream - including pumpkin - to Taste Dedham, a rebranded version of Dedham Rotary Club's fifth annual restaurant showcase event.

Two types of lobster bisque, cheeseburger sliders, chicken tacos, scallops and pumpkin ice cream satisfied the pallets of more than 600 people at Taste Dedham on Thursday evening.

Organizers rebranded the fifth annual event and saw attendance more than double as they focused more on restaurants - 24 in all - and increased silent auction items.

Those 600 people bounced from table to table at Moseley's on the Charles trying everything from Brambles from the Sugar Baking Company of West Roxbury to roasted butternut squash and apple bisque from Isabella Restaurant.
