How Do We Love Thee, Dedham? Let's Count The Ways
Add your favorite things about the town to our incomplete list.
Valentine's Day doesn't just have to be about couples and candy. It's a love holiday, and we all know there's lots to love about Dedham.
To start, there's:
- Civic Groups Galore: Each year, a new civic group forms bringing more and more Dedhamites into the community to give back. Now there's even a civic group to group civic groups.
- Support for Schools: Whether it's through non-profit charities or voters approving two new schools in the past decade, it's clear that Dedham cares about the youngsters. (Don't forget about the town's historic place in public education either.)
- A coffee for every tastebud: Options are nearly limitless if you wanted to try a different brand, flavor or type of coffee each day and never leave Dedham. From Mocha Java to Paradise Cafe, from Starbucks to Dunkin and Au Bon Pain to J.P. Licks, a decision on coffee often depends on your side of the street.
- This is where you come in! What do you love about Dedham?
Can we get to 10 things we love about this town? 20?
Leave your answer in the comments section. Let's give Dedham the valentine it deserves!

4csforkidsfund.org loves how Dedham residents support each other. I've lived in Dedham for 36 years and I can say from the bottom of my heart "I'm glad I never left".
