Fontbonne Academy inducted 21 young women into its National Honor Society on Nov. 20, as part of a celebration of the founding sister of the school, Mother St. John Fontbonne.

The young women were given stoles with the NHS emblem on them and were treated, along with their families, to a reception following the service.

The National Honor Society selection is based on outstanding scholarship, character, leadership and service.  The students demonstrate these criteria in their application and essay.
